Thanks to those who connected with us on Monday night for the “Community Renewables and the Hume Community Power Hub” Webinar.
First up in the line up, Claire Birch, the Engagement Officer for Hume Community Power Hub, presented an overview of the Hume Community Power Hub program, followed by Geoff Lodge (GV Community Energy) talking about one part of this program, Solar for Good. Ben McGowan (Indigo Power) closed the evening with his engaging presentation on micro-grids and community batteries.
Here are the slides from the presentations
There are some great opportunities for community groups, institutions, businesses or individuals looking to get involved in community energy or even start a community energy group in their local area. Additionally, if you’ve got a great idea for a renewable energy project in your community we welcome you to get in contact with us.
