Alpine Unwrapped is promoting the uptake of reusable cups and containers for takeaway food, drink and produce in our community – and the response has been fantastic with new businesses joining up every week! A big shout out to Sixpence Coffee, Ricardi’s Alpine Gourmet Meats, 3 Chords Kiosk, Dumu Balcony Cafe, Dingo Dell Cafe, Food Wine Friends, Riverdeck Kitchen, The Rail Trail Cafe, KB’s Coffee Van, Blackbird Cafe, Morses Creek Bakery, HV Kitchen, Wild Thyme Cafe and Beechworth Bakery who have come on board!
This important event was held on the 26th March, organised by Sustainable Upper Ovens and Toward Renewable Energy Kiewa (TREK). The many presentations informed us on how to build different kinds of resilience for our community and reduce our carbon footprint.
