Do you shudder at the thought of a single use coffee cup or plastic bag? Perhaps you get a warm and fuzzy feeling when your online order arrives in a compostable post pack? If you answered YES and you’d like to be more involved in the local waste-reducing revolution, the Sustainable Upper Ovens (SUO) committee would love to welcome you onboard. Read more.

Our recent Community Carbon Action Field Day featured presentations from leading experts in the renewable energy, environment, passive housing, electrificiation and biodiversity industries. Their presentations featured some excellent tips on how we as individuals or business owners, can take practical steps to reduce our carbon footprint. These presentations were filmed and are available as a resource for the local community (and beyond) to access. Find the videos here.
