Community Energy

The Community Energy and Electric Vehicle group within Sustainable Upper Ovens aims to support the upper ovens community to:

reduce our carbon footprint and become negative with information and events on passive housing, all electric homes, electric vehicles (not just cars)
increase community energy resilience using solar PV, batteries, microgrids and virtual power plants (VPP’S)

Our major event of 2023 is the Cosy Home – Cheaper Bills – Climate Ready Event on the 30th April fro 1-3pm in the Bright Community Centry.
