Saturday 26th March – Bright Community Centre
Save this date in your diaries for the Community Carbon Action Plan Field Day at the Bright Community Centre from 9am to 5pm. A series of speakers and workshops will provide practical and affordable ways to make a real difference to:
- reducing your carbon footprint and becoming carbon negative with topics on passive housing, all electric homes, electric vehicles (not just cars)
- increasing community energy resilience using solar PV, batteries, microgrids and virtual power plants (VPP’S)
- supporting biodiversity with composting, waste management, community gardens, planting trees and our Alpine Parks
Supported by grants from DELWP and the Hume Community Power Hub, this event is being organised by the Community Energy and eV group of Sustainable Upper Ovens and coordinated by Dennis Lambert and Brian Edwards.
